
Summer Smoothies!

Nothing says Summer like a refreshing, nutritious, fruity
Smoothie!
Think I stole that line off a VB commercial, but you get the point. If you're anything like myself, ie. can't get a piece of fruit down your neck unless it's coated in chocolate or you take part in a blindfold game and someone tricks you to eat it, then smoothies are a good way to go!
Apparently research and smart food people are now telling us that we should all be eating at least 5 to 6 pieces of fruit a day

ENTER THE SMOOTHIE 
I've taken the liberty of going round and collecting some freakin` incredible recipies that you should all rush to the kitchen, make, and try!
Personal Fave: Orange Pineapple Coconut Smoothie!

Paradise Freeze
Ingredients --
1 ripe banana
1 cup strawberries
1 mango
1 cup cranberry juice
1 cup ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until thick and smooth.

Rainforest Fusion
Ingredients --
1 cup frozen pineapple pieces
1/2 banana
1/2 cup orange juice
2 Tbsp. coconut milk
1/2 tsp. lime juice
1/2 cup nonfat frozen vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup ice
Combine ingredients in blender; mix until smooth and frothy.

Orange Pineapple Coconut Smoothie
Ingredients --
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1 tbsp coconut milk
1/2 banana
1/4 tsp grated fresh ginger root
1/2 cup crushed ice or 2 small ice cubes
Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth.
